Mr Seamus Miller

Seamus Miller MVB MRCVS

Equine Partner and Equine Veterinary Surgeon

I began work at Rufford in 1988 having graduated from the University College Dublin.

I thought a year or two in the UK would be good before returning to Ireland. I got a bit busy and found it great to live in the area and really enjoy my job working as an equine vet with a truly diverse horse population. We see everything from Grand National winners to pet miniature horses.

My special interests include sports medicine and lameness. I always look forward to the stud season and an ever more increasing number of mares for A.I.

My hobbies and interests away from work include our own dogs and horses, cycling, reading and watching most sports.

I studied at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, qualifying in the year 2000. I have worked in the equine department of Rufford Veterinary Group ever since! My clinical interests are wide ranging, although I particularly enjoy medicine cases and anaesthesia. Outside of work I enjoy walking, music and films.

Ms Stephanie Bullough

Stephanie Bullough BVSc BSc MRCVS

Equine Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the University of Liverpool with First Class Honours in 2013. Having been a client of Rufford Veterinary Group and having seen practice here from a young age I was lucky enough to start work in an environment and client base I was very familiar with! After a short spell working in mixed practice I was then lucky enough to start full time in equine which is my primary interest. My particular clinical interests are gastro-intestinal medicine, orthopaedics and dentistry. I am currently working towards the BAEDT examinations. In my spare time I enjoy riding and competing my horse, going to the gym, socialising with friends... and... shopping!!! Particularly things in pink!!!!!

I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2010 and my first job was in Cornwall. I worked there for a year and moved back to the North West and have worked here ever since.
My main interests are internal medicine and dentistry. I gained my RCVS advanced practitioner status in equine internal medicine in 2015 and have recently graduated with a post graduate certificate in veterinary professional studies from the University of Liverpool. I am currently involved with research looking into the occurrence of fluke in horses.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my young boy, reading and astrophotography.
