I qualified from University College Dublin in 1990 and after briefly working in a local mixed practice in County Meath I moved to England to pursue a career in small animal practice. The intention was to return to Ireland after a few years but fate intervened when I met my husband in the first practice I worked at in Rochdale!

I joined "Hey and Greenwood", as Rufford Vet Group was then, the following year and (apart from maternity leaves) have worked here ever since.

We settled locally and I am kept busy outside work with our four children and two chocolate labradors.

Though I am currently working part time I enjoy consulting; spending time with our lovely clients and meeting some wonderful characters (both animal and human!).
