In-House Laboratory
We have a laboratory which allows us to study in-house:
- Blood haematology
- Biochemistry
- Electrolytes and microscopy with heated stage for semen evaluation
- Cytology
- Worm egg counts.
Lameness Examinations
We have designated areas for trot up, hard lunge and a 20m x 40m rubber and sand surfaced ménage for lunging and ridden exercise. This allows us to perform a thorough dynamic orthopaedic examination for diagnostic purposes.
Office
A warm and inviting room for us to discuss your horse and view diagnostic images such as radiographs or scans on high definition monitor screens… with a cup of coffee.
Stabling and Turn Out
We have stables of varying sizes for horse’s requirements with deep shavings beds and easy clean hygienic surfaces.
Individual post and rail paddocks are available for turn out.
Surgical Facilities and Theatre
We can perform a number of surgical procedures under standing sedation and general anaesthesia if required. Procedures often performed include castration, rig castration, wound repair, sarcoid removal, hernia repair, eyelid repair, enucleation, dental extractions and sinus surgery.
An undercover area is also available to assist in safely performing reproductive examination, AI, dental procedures, colic examination and endoscopy.
Radiography Suite and Treatment Room
A safe and quiet environment for carrying out radiographic and ultrasonographic examinations, minor surgical procedures, endoscopy and joint medications.
